Hi,recently purchased a pack of 9 choc chip buns in Spar made by O’Dwyers Bakery,glanced at the ingredient list and was taken a back by the list of ingredients, emulsifiers, humectant, diphosphate, xanthan gum ect, is this the norm nowadays would have thought eggs flour and water would have made up the most part, the buns tasted below average and the texture was gluey so to speak which is the only reason I was drawn to the ingredients list,never followed up anything like this before but for some strange reason was compelled to follow this one!
