Women’s Snack Smashed Avocado Crackers


Serves 1 (contains approx 100 kcal)


¼ ripe avocado (50g) ½ lime 1 wholemeal cracker (such as Ryvita or similar) handful of alfalfa sprouts or cress (optional) sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


The Method

Scoop the flesh out of the avocado into a bowl and roughly smash with a fork. Season lightly with salt, if using and add a good grinding of black pepper and a squeeze of lime juice. Spoon the smashed avocado on to the cracker and top with the alfalfa sprouts or cress, if using, then arrange on a plate to serve.


Bring avocado, lime with sachet of salt and pepper and cracker in a airtight container with knife and fork to make up when ready to eat.
